After being out of town for a bit we came home to a nightmare. We had a large ice-dam on our roof and water found its way into our living room and entryway foyer damaging the walls, ceiling carpet and hardwood flooring. Because of the layout, the hardwood continues all the way into the kitchen at the back of house.
The nightmare happened when I was out of town. By using insurance company’s recommendation- 2nd City Restoration , I was very pleased with the end result.
Keith and his entire team were great to deal with, they were punctual, professional, worked very hard and did exceptional job.

What began as a floor repair and re stain in my kitchen and replacement of basement drywall and carpeting turned into a complete gut of my kitchen due to the water damage.
Along the way, as issues arose, Keith dealt with me with care and concern. He was intent on doing excellent work and finishing well.
As in life, it’s not whether a problem arises, it’s how you deal with it.

Keith, Mike, Xochitl and Andrew were great to work with! We used them after my Mother-In-Laws unit was flooded from the unit above. The bathroom had to be gutted and the adjoining rooms ceilings and walls needed repairs. The team was prompt, extremely polite and they did beautiful work with the repairs, exceeding our expectations. We would highly recommend them!
I needed a contractor to remove/replace rotten wood and drywall around the interior and exterior of my side door. This was the result of a leaky roof. I found 2nd City Restoration through Allstate. Several other contractors would not take the job, for fear of extensive mold and wood damage behind the wall. 2nd City Restoration did an amazing job. They did additional work, but the final price DID NOT change. I normally don’t do reviews, but 2nd City Restoration is a company worth mentioning. Great job guys!!!
We sold our house and 2 weeks before the closing date, our washing mashine leaked through the ceiling into the room below. We had to have our entire floor ripped out and drywall replaced. There were some complications at first and the flooring we had originally that went through 2 rooms was not available. Jason was very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we met our deadline and received a product that matched the other room. Amazing service, highly recommended.
Jason and his crew were incredible! Jason arrived very quickly at our house to access and stabilize our water damage. He gave us great support and recommendations on how to proceed. He explained the process in great detail and maintained excellent communication during the entire process and kept us at ease during such a stressful situation. Chris and Thomas were incredible and so professional and informative as well. During the demo process I could not believe how clean and contained they kept everything. Every time they showed up, the discussed our status and explained the protocol for the day. They were so diligent and thorough, we couldn’t be happier with their work.
